2. Hosting

This website is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc. (San Francisco, USA) using Cloudflare Pages. When you open a page, Cloudflare processes the technical data needed to deliver and protect the site, in particular your IP address, date and time, the address requested and browser details (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Data may be transferred to the USA. This website sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking, has no user accounts and no contact form, and loads no fonts, scripts or images from third parties.

3. Purchases through Stripe

When you buy a book on one of our series pages you are taken to Stripe’s checkout page (checkout.stripe.com). Sales are processed through Stripe Managed Payments; the reseller shown at checkout is Link, a Stripe service. Stripe processes your payment and contact details under its own privacy policy (stripe.com/privacy). We receive the order details we need for delivery, refunds and statutory record keeping, such as e-mail address, name, country, product and amount (Art. 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR). We never receive your card number.

4. Downloads

After payment our server checks with Stripe that the order is paid and creates personal download links. We only store how many times a file was downloaded through a link, at most until the link expires.

5. E-mail

If you write to us, we use your details only to answer your request (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR) and delete them when they are no longer needed, unless statutory retention periods apply.

6. Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR). Write to kontakt@aurealibri.com. You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO) in Poland.
